UN and caste discrimination in the UK

UNIVERSAL PERIODIC REVIEW

When the United Kingdom was reviewed by the UPR working group at the 1st UPR session in 2008, the issue of caste-based discrimination in the UK was not raised.

The UK will be reviewed for the second time by the UPR working group in May/June 2012.

In this connection, DSN-UK and IDSN have submitted a joint NGO report on caste discrimination in the UK in November 2011.
