Global Call Recommendations to End Caste Discrimination in Pakistan

The Global Call for Action to End Caste Discrimination is an outcome of the International Consultation on Good Practices and Strategies to Eliminate Caste Based Discrimination held in Nepal (29 Nov – 1 Dec 2011). In the Global Call, the following recommendations were made to the government of Pakistan:

Pakistan, we call for the official recognition of caste-based discrimination and the implementation without delay of legislative and policy measures for its elimination.
