Global Call Recommendations to End Caste Discrimination in caste-affected diaspora states

The Global Call for Action to End Caste Discrimination is an outcome of the International Consultation on Good Practices and Strategies to Eliminate Caste Based Discrimination held in Nepal (29 Nov – 1 Dec 2011). In the Global Call, the following recommendations were made to the governments of Caste-affected diaspora states:

Caste-affected diaspora states, we call for investigation into practices of caste-based discrimination and recommend the adoption of legislation to prohibit caste-based discrimination.
